Storytelling Projects
We help organizations turn their stories into experiences that connect with people and communities.
Through our StoryLab approach, we partner with museums, foundations, universities, and community organizations to bring stories to life in ways that build trust, deepen engagement, and create lasting impact.
Turn your story into an experiences that connects.
What We Do
Every organization has meaningful stories, but many struggle to translate those stories into something people can truly connect with.
We bridge that gap.
Our storytelling projects are designed to:
- Center real people and lived experience
- Reflect culture, place, and community
- Create meaningful connections between organizations and the audiences they serve
We don’t just tell stories. We design how stories are experienced.
Who We Work With
Our clients are organizations that understand the value of story but need a partner to bring it to life.
We typically work with:
Museums and Cultural Institutions
Foundations and nonprofits
Cities, Tourism Orgs and Civic Groups
What Makes It Different?
Immersive & Multi-Sensory
We use sound, food, visuals, and story to create lasting emotional resonance.
Rooted in Place & People
Every experience is anchored in local narratives, often drawn from oral histories or reporting.
Bridges Journalism & Culture
We bring the reporting to life—and invite audiences into the story.
Built for Connection
Whether intimate or large-scale, every experience is designed for real-time community engagement.
The Model in Action
Our Process
Our work moves through three phases:
1. Discover: We listen, learn, and identify the stories that matter most.
2. Shape: We develop those stories into clear, compelling narratives.
3. Activate: We turn those stories into content, experiences, and engagement strategies.
This ensures your stories don’t just exist—they connect.
View Past Projects Powered by This Unique Model:
All-Inclusive Projects
LF Voices Collective was contracted by Shape Up Mississippi to produce Vicksburg Voices, a storytelling initiative designed to amplify the experiences and narratives of the Vicksburg community. Through this ongoing project, LFVC led content creation and event production that highlighted the richness of Vicksburg’s cultural heritage.
Pop-Up Exhibits
LFVC designs and produces pop-up exhibits at the Catfish Row Museum. Celebrating the life and legacy of Patrick Kelly, an iconic fashion designer from Vicksburg, this exhibit combined storytelling, visuals, and curated artifacts to highlight Kelly’s cultural impact and inspire pride in local history.
Community Programs
LFVC has also developed storytelling programming for the Catfish Row Museum, including the Food for Thought series. These engaging events combine local narratives, cultural themes, and community dialogue, creating spaces where participants can share stories, celebrate heritage, and foster meaningful connections around shared experiences.
